Ensure absolutely precise level measurement in your boat’s tank! The KUS Model S5 is the global standard for onboard fuel (gasoline, diesel) and water tanks. Thanks to the precise reed contact technology inside the stainless steel tube, this sensor delivers an absolutely stable and jitter-free signal to your display instrument—completely unaffected by violent boat movements or fuel sloshing.

The sensor provides the European standard output signal of 0–190 ohms, making it perfectly compatible with all analog and digital KUS onboard instruments as well as modern NMEA-2000 converters.

📐 Measurement Instructions & Fit for Model S5:

For the S5 model, measure the length from the bottom of the mounting flange to the end of the tube. To prevent the transducer from hitting the bottom of the tank, please follow this rule of thumb:

Inner clear tank height minus 10 mm to 15 mm = your ideal sensor length.
Mounting: The sensor features an integrated SAE 5-hole flange (54 mm bolt circle). It is screwed directly onto the tank from above.
